Consultation appointments are typically seen in the afternoon while oral surgery procedures are scheduled in the morning. The scheduling coordinator at Mountain View Oral Surgery and Dental Implants will make every effort to schedule your visit at a time that fits in well with your schedule.

If you have severe pain or an emergency situation, Dr. Worley will make every attempt to see you on the day that you call. At Mountain View Oral Surgery and Dental Implants, we try our best to stay on schedule and to minimize the time that you spend waiting. Since Dr. Worley provides surgical services, various unforeseen circumstances may lengthen the time that was allotted for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience while we provide the highest level of care possible to each and every patient.

Mountain View Oral Surgery and Dental Implants asks patients to arrive 20 minutes prior to their appointment (whether consultation or surgery) to finalize any last minute details. A preliminary evaluation (consultation) is necessary before most surgical procedures and is in the patient's best interest.

During this initial visit, personal registration information will be collected along with any medical and dental insurance details. This appointment will consist of an assessment of the patient's medical/health history, an examination, a discussion of findings (diagnoses), and finally, any treatment recommendations.

Relatively minor procedures such as simple tooth extractions or biopsies may in some cases be completed the same day as the evaluation. However, a more complex medical history, a more involved treatment plan or even an extremely full schedule will require that a second appointment be scheduled to provide treatment on another day.
